| Wonderful
gîte in a fantastic setting. We've had a lovely
holiday here, enjoying the pool, swing, and wildlife.

| Fantastic
gîte. Cynthea and Mike are excellent hosts.
Have already booked for next year. The setting here is
so beautiful - lots of places to visit and then to come
back and cool off in the pool is bliss. Cynthea's
cooking is outstanding - a real treat! A perfect
place to relax and unwind. Thank you both so much
for allowing us to share your home. |

What a wonderful place,
the gîte is delightful and tasteful. Although we
have enjoyed all our visits to markets, gardens, and
chateaux, the best thing has been to be able to return
to Les Hirondelles and all of its charms. A great
place to chill out and enjoy nature at its best . . . .
and the garden, pool, orchard, boules, cherries etc.
Hope to return soon. |

| Thank you
very much for letting us stay in your French gite, we
have had a fantastic week, visited many historic towns
and villages, sampled the food and wine, and generally
made the most of the week. |

| Thank you
so much for the stay in your gite - it really is
fantastic. It was wonderful to arrive somewhere
that lived up to expectations, and we really appreciate
all you did to make us feel "at home". Cynthea,
this includes your delicious cooking, which allowed us
to "dine out" whilst "staying in " and babysitting.
The gite is in such a beautiful setting and there is so
much to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed
Descartes, Chinon, Loches, Azay-le-Rideau, and the
"Boucles Bournan". This is a great place to stay
for two weeks and it is a shame to be going home!
We'll look back at our stay with fond memories! |

A beautiful light, bright
gite with lots of space and very well equipped.
Perfectly situated to visit everything in the area.
Apart from the obvious chateaux we really enjoyed
Montrésor - very pretty town with a great café and a
lovely walk by the river, and the zoo at Beauval - not
just for kids - we two 60 year olds had a great day
there. Chinon is a lovely town to walk around with
lots of good restaurants. Had a great meal at
Auberge du Pont Neuf in Cussay - fabulous food and very
friendly service. But, of course Cynthea's three course
meals are a match for any restaurants in the region.
Oh, and Loches market on a Saturday is huge and almost
as large on Wednesday - park down by the river.
The visit to the Chateau and Donjon is very good value.
Had a wonderful time. |

We
enjoyed a lovely peaceful week, the gite was beautiful,
bright, and spacious, and the pool was great fun for
Hope. It is such a lovely area we must come again,
one week is just not enough. Hope also loved the
swing and all the sun flowers. Thank you for a
lovely week at La Grange des Hirondelles. |

Another fabulous holiday at La Grange des Hirondelles,
which has gone too quickly. We have thoroughly
enjoyed ourselves and there is so much to see and do
here. Thank you Mike and Cynthea for a lovely
week, your hospitality as ever is second to none.
We would recommend the apple turnovers from the
boulangerie in Le Grand Pressingny !! |

A gorgeous gite,
everything we could need - in an equally gorgeous
location. Enjoying a glass of wine while watching
the sun go down over the green fields will be a lasting
memory for me. Easy to reach all the chateaux!
Thanks for all your help |

We still haven't explored
everywhere that we want, so hopefully we will be back
again next year to enjoy more of this part of the world
that we call paradise. 2 weeks is just not enough. |

We've had a wonderful
time. The gite was everything we needed - the
pictures on the web site don't do justice to the space
inside! The weather was superb for the two weeks
and much time was spent in the pool. Thank you |

We have had a lovely time
in your gite over the past two weeks. After a cool
first couple of days the weather improved and we have
had good temperatures for the remainder of the holiday.
Great pool and fantastic gite in a lovely area. We
visited Chenonceau and Le Clos Lucie and would recommend
both. Still lots to see so we will have to come
back soon. |

This has been a wonderfully relaxing week at this beautiful gite-
so peaceful and very special. It’s full of character,
comfort, wonderful views, private and pretty gardens
with special plants, the swallows and the bats at dusk,
sunsets- we could go on…………(forgot the lovely pool and
weather) . Thank you Mike and Cynthea for creating
this little haven and making us feel so welcome. The
meal on arrival was delicious and just right.
We would love to come back and will tell our friends all
about La Grange des Hirondelles. |

The location is beautiful, peaceful, and the weather these 2
weeks has been perfect - dry and sunny. Two weeks in
this area is not enough to see everything, so we are
looking forward to seeing you again next year. Thank
you again for your hospitality. |

Thank you very much for a
wonderful setting for our week in Central France. The
gite contained everything that we needed, and most of
all had a beautiful pool atop of the South Touraine
hills. The weather cooperated nicely and we were able
to fit in everything that we wanted to do - a balloon
ride above the Indre; Villandry, Chenonceaux, and lots
of quaint little country villages. Thanks again. |

We’ve really
enjoyed our stay here, the gite is gorgeous as is the food, wine
and scenery – diet starts on Monday!
Everything you
could possibly need is catered for here. Thank you for
the restaurant recommendations. Hope to return in the next year
or so. |

We've had a
fantastic week here and have really enjoyed the
stunning scenery. We really can't fault
the place - the gite is beautiful and has
everything you'll need, Mike and Cynthea have
been lovely hosts and very welcoming and even
the weather has delivered glorious sunshine
every day - not bad going for September!
Definitely go to Chenonceaux, which is
breathtakingly pretty, and we also enjoyed the
town of Loches for a stroll and a beer -
terrific atmosphere. Many thanks again
- definitely a place to tell our friends about. |

WOW!!! What an outstanding gîte. It
has everything you need for a perfect holiday,
complemented by an excellent location. The
meal on arrival was four star, and a perfect
start to the holiday after a long journey.
We have had a fantastic time, what more can you

This is a beautiful house to stay
in and such a perfect location. Well done with the
renovation, it is clear that you have both put a lot of effort
into it and the result is tasteful and relaxing - great kitchen
for cooking in too! |
